Within the Dec 9th launch it was reported that officers had closed the Daly overpass (18th St bridge) for a single car vs pedestrian collision. The incident occurred at approx. 6:20 AM Friday Dec 9, when a northbound car struck a male on the roadway. The investigation has revealed that the 19 yr outdated male deliberately put himself within the path of the northbound car. The motive force of the car had no means to keep away from colliding with the male. The male was taken to hospital by ambulance, however sadly was pronounced lifeless a short while later.
