Stolen Firearm Recovered | bdnmb.ca Brandon MB


On January 12, 2023, police obtained a report of a break and enter to a storage within the space of Valcourt Means. The suspect(s) gained entry and stole two firearms from a storage room within the storage.

On January 18, 2023, members of the Brandon Police Service Main Crime Part executed a search warrant at a residence within the 1600 block of Sycamore Drive. Throughout the search warrant, police recovered one of many firearms that had been stolen from the Break and Enter on Valcourt Means.

A 29-year-old male has been arrested/charged with the next offences:

  • Breaking and Coming into to Steal a Firearm
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Firearm Realizing it’s Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Firearm whereas Prohibited
  • Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime
  • Unsafe Storage of a Firearm

A 30-year-old feminine has been arrested/charged with the next offences:

  • Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
  • Possession of a Firearm Realizing it’s Unauthorized
  • Possession of a Firearm whereas Prohibited
  • Possession of a Firearm Obtained by Crime
  • Unsafe Storage of a Firearm

The female and male have been each lodged at Brandon Police Service and are scheduled to look in courtroom right now.
