Wheat Metropolis ConnXion represented Skate Brandon on the 2023 Prairie Regional Synchronized Skating Championship in Yorkton, SK this weekend, successful gold within the Grownup I class with a mixed rating of 74.58. The competitors noticed a complete of 18 groups compete throughout age teams; 10 from Manitoba and eight from Saskatchewan.
This was ConnXion’s first competitors since February 2020, as a result of pandemic. The staff of 23 skaters come collectively to observe every week in Brandon, some touring from different communities resembling Carberry, Souris, Virden, Killarney, and Morris. Wheat Metropolis ConnXion is coached by Tammy McKay and appears ahead to competing on the Skate Manitoba Provincial Championship in Portage la Prairie March 17-19th.
