The fifth classic of the Property White is comprised of 70% Marsanne and 30% Roussanne, a successful mixture. Notes of honeydew melon with a touch of jasmine instantly hit the nostril. The 2021 Property White is mild and cheerful with vibrant acidity, bringing a smile to your lips as quickly as you style it. It tastes a bit like Meyer lemon, jasmine, and honeydew. It’s a type of wines that will get extra complicated and scrumptious the longer you savor it. I like a posh taste profile, however it’s the right steadiness of acidity that basically had me swooning.
I served this wine with a spatchcock rooster marinated in lemon zest, lemon juice, olive oil, and contemporary rosemary from my backyard (recipe coming shortly!), cheddar mashed potatoes, and parmesan grilled asparagus. It was an ideal night to grill on the lake and dine al fresco!
