Popeyes’ Strawberry Biscuit includes a buttery biscuit made with strawberry bits and topped with creamy icing.
I paid $3.99 for 2 biscuits.
Popeyes’ biscuits are smooth, moist, and pretty dense with a considerably uniform texture inside. Exterior, they’re craggy and crispy. I would not name them fluffy or flaky. They seem to be a bit on the small dimension so far as quick meals biscuits go.
The strawberry bits have been a reasonably uninteresting and muted shade of crimson. There wasn’t all that a lot of them in my biscuits so the candy strawberry taste was fairly sporadic.
The icing was a little bit of a large number and barely hardened. It would not name it creamy nevertheless it added a welcome sweetness to stability out the saltiness of the biscuit.
Taken altogether, Popeyes’ Strawberry Biscuit was simply okay for me and will have used much more strawberry inside or perhaps some sort of strawberry sauce on prime. Because it was, I might quite simply get a daily biscuit, break up it, and unfold it with some butter and strawberry jam.
