In search of a superb southern brunch dish to kickoff Derby Day? Make my Bourbon French Toast with Bourbon Whipped Cream!
I really like making French Toast. It’s quick, straightforward, elegant, and fancy all on the similar time. Have every thing available? You’re ten minutes away from probably the most wonderful breakfast!
The custard has eggs, cream, sugar, and bourbon. It smells completely unbelievable frying in butter! I would like that scent as a candle.
I have to insist you employ brioche. Brioche freezes superbly so I all the time have some available and it actually does make the most effective french toast on the planet.
I really like this served with bourbon whipped cream, bourbon maple syrup, powdered sugar, and berries.
