Apple Cider Bellini Recipe | Saveur


Step 1

Make the mulled cider syrup: In a small pot, carry the cider to a boil over medium-high warmth. Flip the warmth to medium and cook dinner, stirring often, till the cider is lowered by half, about 2 minutes. Add the nutmeg, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, and star anise, then take away from the warmth and put aside to chill. Pressure the syrup into an hermetic container and refrigerate. (You need to have about ½ cup of syrup.)

Step 2

Make the cocktail: To a cocktail shaker stuffed midway with ice, add the vodka and 2½ ounces of the mulled cider syrup. Shake till chilled, then pressure into two champagne glasses, prime every with prosecco, and serve.
