Beef Enchancment Federation selects new board, officers


The Beef Enchancment Federation (BIF) introduced new administrators and officers July 5 through the group’s annual symposium in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Kevin Schultz, Haviland, Kansas, was launched because the 2023-24 BIF president through the Wednesday awards luncheon. Gordon Jones, Lafayette, Tenn., is the brand new vice chairman.

Administrators reelected to serve on the BIF board had been breed affiliation representatives Kelli Retallick, American Angus Affiliation, and Shane Bedwell, American Hereford Affiliation. John Irvine, Manhattan, Kansas, was reelected to the board as a central area director. Craig Hays, Pierce, Colorado, and Johnny Rogers, Roxboro, North Carolina, had been elected to their first time period as a producer representatives.

Greater than 350 beef producers, academia and business representatives attended the group’s fifty fifth Annual Analysis Symposium and Conference in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. BIF’s mission is to assist enhance the business by selling larger acceptance of beef cattle efficiency analysis.

The 2024 BIF Conference and Analysis Symposium can be June 10-13, 2024, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
