As somebody who’s battled insomnia for many of my grownup life, I do know simply how helpful a soothing bedtime story may be. So, my fellow sleepless-in-wherevers, this one’s for you.
[hem ahem hem]
*whispering*
As soon as upon a time…
there was a child who was very sleepy.
The child’s undead pals, nevertheless, stored asking:
Sure, all through the lengthy nights, the child’s finest buds howled and screamed and demanded that he keep awake, and play!
At some point the child thought, Possibly if I disguise myself as a ladybug and conceal within the forest, my pals will not be capable of discover me to ask me to play!
And so, chopping off his personal legs and arms, he did.
However, alas! His buggy disguise quickly attracted a sticky swarm of monster ladybugs.
They crawled in his hair and tickled his ears and the child forgot about sleep for an additional evening.
Possibly, the child thought subsequent, if I cowl myself with a giant blanket, I will not hear my pals calling me!
And so, plugging his little ears, he did.
However, alas! His pal Mr. Bubbles had a very loud and squeaky nostril:
Plus, Mr. Bubbles’ chainsaws had been terribly noisy.
I do know! The child thought eventually. I will cover on this cake! Then I can nap so long as I would like.
And so, burrowing into the gentle spongy layers, he did.
However, alas! The cake was Mr. Monkey’s birthday cake.
