Crab Tartlets – The Rose Desk


Searching for a jaw-dropping appetizer that’s prepared in mere minutes? You’ve come to the suitable place! These Crab Tartlets are insanely scrumptious and take about 5 minutes to prep and ten minutes within the oven.

I got here up with this lovable recipe for my Depraved Ball, for which I dubbed them Flirt and Flounce Crab Tartlets. Notice: I doubled this recipe for my Depraved Ball and had lots for thirty company.

Have leftovers? No downside! These tartlets reheat in a toaster oven shockingly nicely.

You gained’t even imagine how satisfying these are to crunch into. The creamy crab paired with the crispy phyllo shell and the pop of inexperienced onion is simply excellent. I hope you’re keen on these completely little bites as a lot as I do!

Crab Tartlets

2 packages frozen phyllo tart shells
1 massive egg
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp paprika
1/8 tsp salt
1 can (6 oz) lump crabmeat, drained
1/4 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
1 Tbsp inexperienced onion

  1. Preheat oven to 375 levels. Whisk collectively egg, milk, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, flour, paprika, and salt. Gently stir in crab, cheese, and inexperienced onion.
  2. Spoon combination into tart shells, place on a cookie sheet, and bake for September 11 minutes. Serve heat. If desired, garnish with chopped Italian parsley.
