Within the spring Dorothy and Savannah Chatham County College college students will proceed incorporating composting into their classes by using the e book Compost Stew by Mary McKenna Siddals. The Mini-Grant funds have helped them buy books for each colleges for this challenge.

“It’s vital to constantly elevate college gardens and farm to highschool initiatives as a part of the toolbox in educations,” she continues.

“I imagine college gardens and out of doors lecture rooms are important in schooling and needs to be invested in by college districts. They supply sensible, hands-on experiences that college students can’t get within the classroom alone.”
