Espresso Chocolate Halva

Makes 1 lb

Components:

  • 1 1/2 cups tahini, stirred properly, at room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 Tbsp espresso powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup filtered water
  • 1/2 cup chopped vegan darkish chocolate
  • 1/4 cup chopped vegan darkish chocolate for the highest of the halva

 

Directions:

  1. Line an 8×8 inch sq. pan with parchment (letting it go up the edges as properly).
  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix the tahini, sea salt, vanilla, espresso powder and blend till properly blended.  Put aside.
