Don’t reduce the watermelon slices too thick or it’ll be tough to chop out into stars. Don’t reduce the slices too skinny or they’ll break simply. An inch or rather less is ideal on your slices. You would use one measurement of cookie cutter however I feel an assortment of stars is lovable.
I served these on the Patriotic Pool Get together I threw for my household alongside sliders and potato salad. These would even be lovable as a part of a 4th of July breakfast! My little niece Cassi cherished her firework wand. Clearly, preserve an in depth eye on littles when consuming these, because the skewers have some extent.
Firework Fruit Wands
1 complete watermelon
1 pint blueberries
- Lower watermelon into slices, about three-forths of an inch thick. Use star cookie cutters to chop out massive and medium stars.
- Thread blueberries on bamboo skewers, leaving three or 4 inches naked on the underside to comfortably maintain the wands. Add a watermelon star on the prime of the wand. Organize in a firework show.
