Pensacola leaders mulling meals truck court docket ordinance


The town of Pensacola, Florida may quickly be house to meals truck courts if lawmakers approve guidelines to permit the court docket zones in business metropolis areas.

The mayor, D.C. Reeves, is asking the town planning board to debate an ordinance permitting the operation of meals courts, in keeping with a Pensacola Information Journal report.

The town’s code at the moment would not embrace meals vehicles or meals truck courts.

“We have had a number of inquiries into potential meals truck pavilions, meals truck parks, at scale in business properties,” Reeves advised the information outlet. “We’re slightly bit behind the eight ball in Pensacola. We have now surrounding areas and surrounding communities that have already got issues on the books like this.”

At this level there isn’t a proposal in play and if an ordinance is handed it could positively require the meals court docket to offer buyer restrooms.
