On August 10, 2023, at roughly 5:30 am, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence on Hawthorn Crescent. A resident awoke to seeing a person sporting a ski masks within the residence. The suspect fled after being found. Police Service Canine Unit tried to trace the suspect with unfavorable outcomes. It’s not believed something was stolen, and that the suspect gained entry via an unlocked door.
