I stocked the freezer with recent salmon, scallops, and white fish, however I additionally grabbed a can of smoked octopus and smoked herring. Smoked Herring Dip

Smoked Herring Dip
6 oz can smoked herring
Recent dill, chives
Three massive spoonfuls mayonnaise
Zest of half a lemon
Lemon juice to style
1 celery rib, chopped

  1. Drain smoked herring and flake with a fork. Combine with recent dill and about three heaping spoonfuls of mayonnaise, mixing nicely. Add lemon zest, chopped celery, and a squeeze of lemon to style. 
  2. Refrigerate for at the very least 4 hours or ideally, over evening. Serve with crackers.
