Subway switches to fresh-sliced meats at every location and provides new Deli Heroes subs to showcase the operational change. The chain beforehand served pre-sliced deli meats.
Based on Subway, the swap required the rollout of new deli meat slicers to over 20,000 Subway places nationwide over a span of 9 months.
To focus on the brand new fresh-sliced deli meats, Subway provides the Deli Heroes class to the Subway Collection menu. Subway’s new Deli Heroes embody:
– Titan Turkey (#15) – Turkey (33% extra turkey than their common subs), double provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pink onions, and mayo, served on Artisan Italian bread.
– Grand Slam Ham (#99) – Ham (33% extra ham than their common subs), double provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, pink onions, and mayo, served on Artisan Italian bread.
– Garlic Roast Beef (#17): Roast Beef, double provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pink onions, and Roasted Garlic Aioli. Served on Artisan Italian bread.
– The Beast (#30): Pepperoni, salami, turkey, ham, roast beef (for a half-pound of deli meats), double provolone cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pink onions, mayo, and MVP French dressing, served on Artisan Italian bread.
