The primary ever North American VOLT hockey match passed off this weekend at Selection Village in southwest Scarborough and the Westman Volt Hockey group captured Gold within the Division 2 Championship. Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Boston had been among the many groups competing within the match over the weekend. The match was introduced by the Maple Leafs Alumni Affiliation and each match play and the officiating group was organized by the Larger Toronto Hockey League (GTHL).
“VOLT hockey is an inclusive, accessible type of hockey, with a particularly designed hockey sport chair performed by folks with a wide range of disabilities, significantly these with restricted higher mobility.”
The primary Canadian VOLT hockey group launched in Toronto in 2016, whereas the Westman Volt Hockey program took flight in Brandon in September of 2022.
